Events

Sheffield Sustainability Network  holds free events to help organisations learn about key aspects of sustainability. We address a different topic each month, and our aim is to give you and your team the information, skills and guidance you need to start taking effective action, and to guide you towards other organisations and resources that might be useful.

We usually run our events at the beginning or end of the working day so you have the best chance of
fitting them into your diary. The events can be in-person or online, and are often run in partnership with other organisations such as Wild Sheffield, Plastic Free Sheffield and others. Events typically last 1-2 hours and involve one or two presentations, a Q&A session, and small group discussions. Previous events have covered energy use, the circular economy, reducing plastic use, and nature recovery.

SSN starts with its members, so if you have a subject that you would like us to cover in an upcoming event or wish to run an event yourself, or feel you could offer your experience for inclusion in a session, please get in touch here.

If you are part of a small business, charity or community organisation in the South Yorkshire Region,
subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on our social media to hear about the latest events that are
coming up.
